Arguably CPR's best performance to date. By the end of the first half we were 3-1 up with a well taken hatrick from Thomas Blackburn. However despite being clearly the better side Rushmoor started to claw back scoring to make it 3-2. Further CPR goals from Cameron Hilton with a well taken 1on1 with the keeper and Charlie Arnold-Jones from outside the box made it 5-2 with 10 mins to go. Then CPR made a series of mistakes, as well as some poor referee decisions, and the game ended 5-5. Against the run of play and very unlucky CPR will take heart from the performance but be disappointed with the result. MM was Thomas Blackburn with 3 well taken goals and some great linking playing.

Infernos started well at Farnborough. However the large pitch, only 11 players and the heat started to show towards the end of the second half. CPR went ahead with a well taken goal fom outside of the area by Cameron Hilton. Farnborough then equalised from a high ball, a long way out but unfortunately over Ben's head. CPR had several other chances but failed to convert. The second half saw Farnborough start better and they scored an early goal. By this time CPR were running out of energy. The final 10 minutes saw breaks on both sides but the score remain 2-1 to Farnborough. Great performance by the defence and Man of the Match to Sam Row for an outstanding performance.

Despite a well taken early goal from Thomas Blackburn the Infernos failed to start quickly again in the first half. Tongham pushed hard and with continued pressure via balls over the top of the defence were able to secure 3 goals before half time. CPR knew what needed to be done and came out in the second half with more desire. Joe Perry making the best of an early 1 on 1 with the keeper brought the score to 3-2. Tongham continued to push and scored from range again after 15 mins. The last 20 however saw CPR rise up. Okey and Jake having exceptional games at the back stopping the Tongham attack. Robin Mills was on inspirational form scoring a hatrick from the left and taking CPR ahaed. However it wasn't quite to be, Tongham scored in the final minutes making  it 5-5. CPR battled well and were the better footballing side, still improvements to be made though. Man of the Match was Robin Mills demonstrating a real desire to win, which netted him 3 goals. 

The Infernos kicked off the season with a less than impressive start against Bourne Blades. CPR was down 3-0 within 15 minutes with most of the players still asleep. Despite Thomas Blackburn scoring at the end of the first half a further 2 goals were conceded. By the end of half time CPR was 5-1 down. Following an inspirational half time team talk the second half was a significant improvement both in terms of possession and aggression. CPR were unlucky not to score on several occasions with notable efforts from Joe Perry's header and Okey's throw-ins. But Bourne always threatened on the attack. Joe scored a consolation goal but CPR lost 8-2. Much to improve on for next weeks match!
